Susan Pulko graduated from Imperial College, London, with a BSc in physics together with an ACRCS. She later obtained a PhD in the Faculty of Applied Science at the University of Nottingham. She is currently Reader in Numerical Analysis at the University of Hull, where she has established a research team concerned with the development and application of the TLM (Transmission Line Matrix) numerical technique.
Her major area of interest in teaching is the development of teaching and learning techniques for progression enhancement. She is a member of the IEE Accreditation Committee and has acted as a subject specialist assessor for the Quality Assurance Agency.
